Subaru XV e-BOXER in Ashburton Devon

Change is in the air and boy it looks good. The new XV e-Boxer is a self-charging hybrid compact crossover backed by Subaru DNA. The 2.0L petrol engine and electric motor combine to kick out 150PS and 192Nm of torque for brisk performance, while the always-on Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (SAWD) system keeps you going in any weather. EyeSight driver assist technologies make driving easier, while a high-tech cabin gives you a commanding view of the road. There’s driving, then there’s owning it.

SE and SE Premium trims are offered. Top-spec SE Premium models gave a powered tilt and slide sunroof, leather seats, a powered driver’s seat, and satellite navigation. All versions have LED headlights, 18” alloy wheels, heated front seats, keyless entry and start, an electric parking brake, an 8” touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and voice recognition, a reversing camera, and EyeSight driver assist technologies.

Design

The XV is a picture of confidence with its rugged body. Stylish details like full LED headlights, power-folding door mirrors, 18” alloy wheels and privacy glass give it a subtle aura of class and sophistication.

Drive

2.0i e-Boxer engine is paired to a Lineartronic gearbox for smooth acceleration. It returns up to 35.7mpg combined (WLTP) with 150PS and 192Nm of torque, switching between electric and hybrid propulsion.

Practicality

The Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive is unstoppable in wet, wintry weather and is happy mixing it up off-road with suitable tyres. The system is always active, with an X-MODE (two-modes) and Hill Descent Control.

Living with it

The XV’s cockpit is a pleasure to spend time in, with leather seats and a powered driver’s seat in SE Premium spec. SE Premium models also have a tilt and slide sunroof. All versions have heated front seats.
